The IPPC's Rapidly Melting Credibitlity

In the last few months, we have seen, the uh the entire global warming debate completely unravel. You had; climategate, right, the emails that were leaked out exposing altered data, exaggerations, manipulation, erasing of certain data, fraud and just all out lies. Then we had the story about the 2007 IPPC report and all of those false claims that came out one after another. Um like the claim about global warming causing the Himilayan Glaciers to melt, and tons more in the last month in a half about the IPPC 2007 report, but now we find out about the fact that maybe, oh one more thing.

Hurricanes! surely global warming must cause these right? Well that's what the IPPC said in 2007. Now first, uh that report, the 2007 report from the IPPC is the biggest argument the alarmists can make, and as we find out more about the fraud in that report, the more we defeat their argument. So uh, today I learned, that the claim about the hurricanes being caused by global warming is incorrect, and is also part of a NATURAL CYCLE!!! A natural cycle. Gee maybe ya don't think that, maybe this whole thing is just part of a natural cycle?

Here is an excerpt from the new peer-reviewed research published in Nature Geoscience concludes that hurricane strength has little to do with global warming:

-Research by hurricane scientists may force the UN’s climate panel to reconsider its claims that greenhouse gas emissions have caused an increase in the number of tropical storms. …

However, the latest research, just published in Nature Geoscience, paints a very different picture.

It suggests that the rise in hurricane frequency since 1995 was just part of a natural cycle, and that several similar previous increases have been recorded, each followed by a decline.-

So, translation, weather patterns change from time to time...hmmm... wait, it gets better:

-Looking to the future, it also draws on computer modelling to predict that the most likely impact of global warming will be to decrease the frequency of tropical storms, by up to 34% by 2100.-

one more time, i'm sorry what was what? oh, DECREASE THE FREQUENCY OF TROPICAL STORMS BY UP TO 34% BY 2010. Uh, fairly self explanatory.

- “We have come to substantially different conclusions from the IPCC,” said Chris Landsea, a lead scientist at the American government’s National Hurricane Center, who co-authored the report.

He added: ”There are a lot of legitimate concerns about climate change but, in my opinion, hurricanes are not among them. We are looking at a decrease in frequency and a small increase in severity.” Landsea said he regarded the use of hurricane icons on the cover of Gore’s book as “misleading”.-

Now, this is a guy, who up until 2005, worked at the IPPC. So that makes him, well to me it makes him a man with insight and knowledge from all angles. But to the IPPC and the AGW alarmists, a traitor.
