Questions For Liberals part 1

I have been active in the political debate yet am stumped by where the left is coming from and where their argument is based from. So here are some questions for leftists that that i think they should answer.

~if the government can do better than the free market in health care, why is that not the case everything? What makes this more important or different than clothes, or houses, or food? Why are you not pursuing government run food, or socialized clothes?

~What is the difference between some one stealing anther's liberty, and the government doing it. What gives any one the right to steal property?

~If people cannot be trusted to self govern themselves, how is it then that they can be trusted to govern over others?
