Oh shut up will you, about uh, unemployment going from 10.2% to 10%. First of all the actual unemployment is 17.2% (factoring in those who have stopped looking for a job). YAy the work force is shrinking yay well done!!.
Second of all, why is it that there was a spike in employment the last two weeks? The holiday season. These are mostly temporary jobs. Places always do a lot of temporary hiring for the holidays. And we'll all see the temporary part in the December and january unemployment rates.
Big deal. so .2% got a job, fantastic. We still have 10% of the population without jobs, and a work force that is falling faster than the dollar.
We had an unemployment rate of 4.5% in 2008. Then we had a stimulus in 2008 which gave us 7.6% unemployment. Then we had another 787 billion dollar stimulus that gave us 10.2% unemployment. And now it drops to 10% and we're talking about another stimulus.
People need to wake up. Watch this next week, see if the white house makes a big deal about the .2% drop in unemployment. It doesn't matter. We've lost 3 million jobs this year. Stimulus was suppose to give us 3 million jobs. But it only gave us around 10,000 jobs.
Yeah let's all have a party! We have an unemployment rate of 10% now!!!
