Recently i found the Ontario Health Care website: http://www.health.gov.on.ca/transformation/wait_times/public/wt_public_mn.html# And i tried to set up an appointment for bypass surgery. The wait time was 182 days. That is about 6 1/2 months. Just general surgery has an average 182 day wait time. Cancer treatment ranged from 142 days-182 days.
In short, the wait time us awful. Now in the US, here, in Minnesota, i could get treated for bypass surgery in a week. In Canada i would have to wait nearly seven months. Now you tell me which sounds better. Yeah, Canada's health care is great.
