Dems Losing Ground in Elections

Election day is tomorrow, and the democrats are slipping in the polls. Key states such as New Jersey and Virginia, have the Republican candidate leading in the polls by a fair amount. Now both of these states went for Obama by a huge margin. So why now, are they running away to the Republicans? My opinion is that this is a huge loss for this administration, if both virginia and new jersey go Republican in their governor race tomorrow. It will be a massive slap in the face and a wake up call for the white house.

However not surprisingly Obama has been endorsing both of the democrats in those states every chance the last few weeks.

The Polls in New Jersey have incumbent John Corzine losing to Republican Chris Christie by 6% as Corzine holds 41% and Christie with 47% and third candidate Chris Daggett at 11%.

Although the governor does not have any roll in D.C. so to day this could still be a huge blow to the democrats if they lose NJ, a state that is typically overwhelmingly democrat.

In other news the New York d-23 race has conservative party candidate Doug Hoffman is beating Bill Owens in the polls by 19 points.

And in Virginia GOP candidate Robert McDonnell has a commanding 13 point lead over democrat R. Creigh Deeds.

A Rasmussen poll says that after president Obama stopped to campaign for Deeds, 39% say Obama campaigning for Deeds in Virginia makes them less likely to vote for the Democratic candidate. Just 24% say it makes them more likely to vote for Deeds, and 36% say it has no impact on their voting decision.

These are three crucial elections that the democrats are losing. And three important elections that republicans, need, and are winning.
