NEWS ALERT: 2% is BIGGER that 98%

Yes it's a breaking news report, the CBO has recently (last week) reported that the scaled down health reform bill will cover, just 2% of Americans under 65. So now, when you think of this massive overhaul of our health care system, just remember, it's all for 2% of the population.

  1. The public option may cover only 2% because they will be the only ones to opt to purchase it. Since it sets up free-market exchanges that allow you to compare all private options (in which each insurer can compete across state lines, and states can opt to run their own exchange as well) the effect will be to lower the private plans who are now forced to compete with a government fun option that is funded entirely by its own premiums.

  2. Right no i agree with the idea of market exchange. that's how politicians get their health care right? but the fact is if only 2% will enroll then why overhaul the system for just that.
